We had a really fun Easter weekend. Here are some snaps taken at our neighbor's, the Gardners. They host a really fun easter egg hunt (complete with prizes!) each year. Max picked out a mini skateboard and Lyla picked the crazy worm thing that lights up inside. Jeremy and Keeko showed up with their new pal - a bunny! No name yet, though Max suggested "Jelly Bean."
Oh yeah - there was a ton of candy, too!

Hakuna Matada!
Hakuna Matada is what Max keeps saying- it means no worries. This seems to be his life phrase.
We had a fun weekend so far! Friday was my sister Marissa's birthday party which they were super excited to go and have BBQ again, Lyla sure liked ribs! I think she's a BBQ girl! Then after all the girls spent the night. In the morning we all went out to coffee around the corner in Clifton Square. Max had on a very bright outfit which I told him it was because he was ready for a bright and cheery day! Later we went over to my house and the kids played on the trampoline. Today we went to breakfast, church, then we all cleaned the house-they looooove to clean! No really they love it! It's like they are perfect or something! :)

On Saturday morning getting ready to go to coffee with his bright outfit.
On the trampoline!
They said they were tired :)
On Friday Lyla refused to be called Lyla! She decided she wanted to be called Matilda :)
Here's when we were cleaning! I told her to put on her cleaning face.
Max was cleaning the back porch, he went out one door and tried to come in the other door (which was locked), so instead of going back to the door he went in I found him like this yelling "Keeko! I can't get out! Can you help me get out!" So funny!Doesn't this pic look like his mommy!
And that's a wrap!

Thursday hair cuts!
Thursday was hair cut day! They both enjoyed themselves a lot!
Lyla kept saying she looked like Matilda (a movie about a brilliant girl whom is about 6 years old)
Max said that he looked like a strength team guy.
When Kylee put the moose in her hair she was cracking up and wanted to take a pic of it.
This is where she kept saying "I look like Matilda! But I think I like Shirley Temple better."
She said that this was her "cute" pose. Ha!
Next was Maxy Boy!
Lyla was playing peek-a-boo with him under the cape.
Cutie pa tootie!
They both have such a sense of humor every day is an adventure!

Tuesday Tuesday Tuesday!
Well Tuesday Lyla had climbing lessons. She was so cute! ... Well for the last hour and a half I have been trying to get the pictures from my phone onto the computer and seems I am not going to be able to post the pics I've tried every way I'm very sorry :(
So Tuesday Lyla had climbing class. Then we went out to Jason's deli and walked around to this pond and then made a wish in the well, Max said he wiched for a skateboard and Lyla wished for a house :)
On Wednesday, Lyla went to school which she came home with new plans to go to Dallas with her best friend Ally (she always comes home with new plans), and excited for her field trip on Friday to the Dairy Farm. They both got to spend the afternoon and evening with Marin while I went to school.
Today we went to Max's tumbling which he is very attentive and has a fun time!

The start of a new week
Since I was intending to update on the good 'ol blog anyway, in combination with updating DJ and Catherine in England, I figured this would be a great way to give updates. So check each day this week and I'll keep updating!
Yesterday Jeremy (my fiance) came over to help me run over to the airport and decided to stay for dinner, which was a great night to do it 'cause we were BBQing! As any woman would do, I put him on the grill :) The kids were very interested in the fire and trying to figure out how it all works.

They both kept asking for more. We found out that Lyla LOVES brats and especially really almost burned grilled peppers, she kept asking for more!
Right here Max kept saying he could see me in the camera :)
After we cooked out we walked over to the park and had a really fun time over there!
It was a wonderful evening and both were cracking us up. One time Lyla came from the swing set and said, "How's everyone doin over here?" It was as if she was the lady of the house checking up on her guests that were over for dinner. She is a funny little woman.
